We collect as little personal data as we can, use it only to respond to you and improve this website, and never sell it.

This website is operated by Empyrium Digital Limited, trading as Cloud2Cloud Migrator. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales with company number 14826845. Our registered office is West Cottage, Starveal Farm, Moulsford, Wallingford, Oxfordshire, OX10 9JR, United Kingdom.
For the personal data described in this policy, we are the data controller. That means we decide how and why it is used, and we are responsible for it under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, email sales@cloud2cloudmigrator.com or write to us at the address above.
This policy covers personal data we collect when you visit cloud2cloudmigrator.com, fill in our contact form, or email or call us about our services.
It does not cover the email and archive data we migrate for customers. That is explained in section 2a.
Many of our migration projects are delivered with Ultimate Technologies Limited, which develops the migration platform we use and operates it on many projects. Ultimate Technologies Limited is registered in England and Wales with company number 04290217. Its registered office is Wiston House, 1 Wiston Avenue, Worthing, West Sussex, BN14 7QL.
For the email, archive and directory data moved during a migration, our customer is the data controller. We process that data only on the customer's documented instructions, as a data processor. Where Ultimate Technologies operates the platform on a project, it processes the data as our sub-processor, or as the customer's own processor where the customer contracts with it directly, under a written contract that binds it to the same obligations. The customer's contract and data processing agreement set out exactly who processes the data, where, and for how long. If you are an employee or correspondent of one of our customers and have questions about data in a migration, please contact that organisation first, as the controller.
If your enquiry leads to a project delivered with Ultimate Technologies, we will share your business contact details and the project information you have given us with them, so they can scope, deliver and support the project. Ultimate Technologies uses these details for those purposes as an independent data controller, under its own privacy policy. We will tell you before we share your details.
We collect your first and last name, work email address and company name, which are required. We also collect anything else you choose to give us: your role, source and destination platforms, approximate data volume, mailbox count, timeline and any notes.
We use this to reply to your enquiry, arrange a scoping call and prepare a proposal. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and, where you are asking about a service for your organisation, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
The form sends your details to our sales inbox by email. They are not stored in a database on our website.
We keep the content of your message and your contact details so we can respond and keep a record of our conversation. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running our business and answering enquiries.
If you agree to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how long for, how visitors arrived (for example, from a search engine), the type of device and browser, and an approximate location at city or country level. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. We use this information in aggregate to improve the site. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see section 8).
Our web server does not keep access logs of individual visits.
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google states that Google Fonts does not set cookies or use this data to build profiles. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in presenting the site consistently.
We do not send newsletters or add you to a marketing mailing list. If you have made an enquiry, we may follow up with you about it. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the following:
IONOS, Fasthosts and Google (for Google Analytics) act as our processors, under contract. Our professional advisers are bound by duties of confidentiality. Ultimate Technologies and Google (for Google Fonts) are responsible for their own use of the data under their own privacy policies.
Our website hosting and email services are in the United Kingdom. Google may process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards permitted by UK data protection law, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified, or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses.
We use cookies only for analytics, and only if you accept them in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics does not run.
